In terms of education, Tallahassee does not fall behind. The city has many excellent public and private schools at every level. In fact, Florida State University, one of the country’s top institutions of higher education, calls the city home. The university’s athletics teams, known collectively as the Florida State Seminoles, are some of the city’s pride and joy. Other than that, Tallahassee residents enjoy a moderate cost of living, a sparkling nightlife, and no shortage of outdoor activities.

Tallahassee boasts a mix of young and old residents. In fact, residents aged 18-24 make up most of the population, at 29%. Residents aged 25-34 come in second, at 17%. Residents in the 35-44 and 65+ age brackets make up 10% each, while residents in the 45-54 and 55-64 age brackets make up 9% each.

The residents here are also highly educated. A whopping 22% of residents hold a master’s degree or higher and 26% hold a bachelor’s degree, which are both above the national average. Some 29% possess a college or associate degree and 17% are high school graduates. The median household income in Tallahassee is $43,799.

Homeowners associations are abundant in Florida, Tallahassee included. Homebuyers often opt to purchase property in these communities for the benefits they provide. For one thing, homeowners associations come with amenities and services typically included in the regular assessments. This can range from pools and clubhouses to trash removal and landscaping. HOAs also improve curb appeal and make the community a better place to live in, contributing to the rise in property values.

Yet, many HOA boards find it difficult to juggle the daily tasks associated with Tallahassee HOA management. Board members must complete a mountain of responsibilities while simultaneously tending to their professional and personal lives. For this reason, many HOA communities turn to professional HOA management companies for help. With an experienced HOA manager, board members can concentrate on more pertinent issues.
